Holiday Homecoming - Pop Up At The MCA Store

It's a holiday homecoming of sorts for Sir Dogwood. Back in the day after moving to Chicago to study art history I started interning and subsequently working full time for the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. As a budding art dork it basically became a home away from home for me. I was in heaven working alongside other passionate staffers and emerging and established visual artists helping to promote exhibitions, events and public programs.

The MCA Store pop up while it was still a work in progress :)

Fast forward to today, I'm honored to have been invited to create a Holiday Pop Up Shop at the MCA Store (located at 220 E. Chicago Ave., seriously one of the best shopping destinations in Chicago). Beatrix and I (more on the new girl in a forthcoming blog post) have had a blast pulling everything together, including pieces that are exclusive to the pop up and not available on the website). If you're in Chicago, bring your pup through Jan. 5 and get those furry friends crossed off your holiday list!
